
Mark Ensberg , MD
Biography
Dr. Ensberg is the Interim Director of the Geriatric Medicine Division, a geriatrician at the Holt Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Holt, Michigan, and an Associate Professor of Geriatrics in the Department of Family Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Ensberg received his medical degree from the University of South Dakota. This was followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University. He completed a Geriatric Fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Ensberg's academic interests include the interprofessional training of healthcare teams in community-based care of the elderly, the early detection of dementia in primary care, and the management of challenging behaviors associated with dementia. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice & Palliative Care.
