Breaking Barriers: How Rx Kids Achieved 100% Enrollment in Flint Through Universal Design

New research from MSU College of Human Medicine highlights how Rx Kid's simple & universal design, leverage of trusted community stakeholders, & efficient application process resulted in a program uptake rate of approximately 100% in Flint, MI within the first 8 months of operation. 

Lead author, Yasi Zamani-Hank, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and a Co-Investigator of Rx Kids. Dr. Zamani-Hank is a perinatal and social epidemiologist whose research focuses on studying the psychosocial, socioeconomic, and policy determinants of maternal and infant health outcomes. https://doi.org/10.1177/00333549251403346
